So, I really wanted to get some interesting shots of my apartment's Christmas tree and I think these two were the best (not super fancy, but I secretly like the self-portrait in the first one). Hooray for little Christmas reminders everywhere!

It's that time of year again - Utah has started getting snow again! And I love whatever type of tree this is; the berries remind me of cranberries and look so pretty with the white snow. :)

It seems like I always take pictures of the Salt Lake City temple, but since it's a very special place to me, this doesn't surprise me too much. These shots are from the trip my roommates and I took to see the light decorations for Christmas. (The first is the southern end while the second is a shot of the eastern spires.)

These are two images from the 'photo session' I did with the E. family. I just loved how they were raw (no editing, as with most of my pictures posted here) and wanted to share their happy family.

This was a shot I captured while visiting the ruins at Chichen Itza in Mexico. I just loved the way the sun was breaking through the treetops.

I would have to say that I truly love the House of the Lord. I LOVE visiting, no matter where I am in the world. I'm especially grateful that I am so close to so many here in Utah. What a beautiful building: inside and out.

I was drawn to the water wheel at the Brigham Young Historic Park and couldn't help taking about a dozen pictures of it.

So, I stepped into the lobby for the Legacy Theater and could see the temple just outside the windows. The amazing part, however, was that I could see my favorite part of the temple almost perfectly centered in the circle pane. I HAD to take a picture before I was seated.

On a trip to Escalante, I took a picture of all the hikers in front of me (only three people were visible in the shot, though). It happened to be in black and white and I kind of fell in love with the shot.

This was just a wave that came ashore. I think it's pretty. :D

I'm sorry if you have a screen that tends to be dark. I just happen to really like this shot--it was a little boy who lives in the Earley's neighborhood who was playing with a sparkler and I happened to just catch an eclipse of his face. I like it. :)

May 30 - Day 15

I kind of like this shot because it reminds me of Fred's nature shots. I also like this shot because I believe that Tryn and I stood at that bush for no less than five minutes, taking pictures of two completely different bugs.

I was trying to be artsy. My camera doesn't like being artsy. :D

I apologize for lack of updates. Mostly it's because I know my computer won't upload pictures, which has left me unmotivated to take new ones, since I know I can't share them.

Soon, however, this should be resolved. :)
